Frequently Asked Questions

Products Features
Support & Care

What are the key upgrades of the Yarbo Lawn Mower Pro compared to the standard Yarbo Lawn Mower?

Yarbo Lawn Mower Pro features dual 300W motors delivering 2500W peak power—double the standard 150W motors. It includes optional straight blades for finer cuts and an enhanced cutting height range down to 0.8 inches (2 cm). These upgrades make it ideal for both residential properties up to 6 acres and commercial applications like golf courses and resorts. It excels with cool and warm-season grasses, as well as wet, thick, and overgrown lawns.

Is Yarbo Lawn Mower Pro the best for large lawns?

Absolutely. Yarbo Lawn Mower navigates slopes up to 35° (70%) and adapts to complex terrain, including ditches, trees, and ponds. The tracked drive system and powerful motors deliver reliable performance on uneven, rugged lawns—ensuring Yarbo Lawn Mower maintains consistent cutting quality even on challenging properties.

What is the cutting height range and why can it cut grass lower?

The cutting height adjusts from 0.8 to 4.0 inches (2–10 cm). The ability to cut lower comes from reinforced blades that press deeper into dense grass. With dual 300W motors, Yarbo Lawn Mower Pro delivers the power needed to handle thick, established turf at lower heights—a feature typically required for commercial-grade applications and warm-season grasses.

What types of grass can the Yarbo Lawn Mower Pro handle?

Yarbo Lawn Mower Pro handles all-season grasses with exceptional performance on challenging warm-season varieties. It efficiently tackles Zoysia, Buffalo Grass, St. Augustine, Bermuda, and Kikuyu—grasses known for being dense, tough, and difficult to mow. The 300W motors and straight blade option ensure clean cuts even in wet, thick, or overgrown conditions.

What blade options come with the Yarbo Lawn Mower Pro?

Two-blade systems are included: dual cutting discs with 5 reinforced razor blades each (standard), and optional straight blades made from SK85 high-carbon steel. The straight blades deliver finer mulching, greater durability, and smoother operation—ideal for users seeking the best for large lawn maintenance with minimal blade replacements.

Will the Yarbo Lawn Mower Pro face clogging issues?

No. The straight blades virtually eliminate clogging, and the redesigned disc system significantly reduces it. Blades rotate outward to eject cut grass efficiently, and the simplified deck structure prevents buildup. This automatic lawn mower powers through dense grass and heavy debris without stalling—ensuring uninterrupted autonomous operation.

What maintenance is needed for blades, tracks, and general upkeep?

Minimal upkeep keeps the Yarbo Lawn Mower Pro performing optimally. Replace blades every 3 months with heavy use (tool-free replacement). Clean and lubricate tracks regularly, checking tension periodically. Monthly maintenance: clean cameras and sensors, wipe exterior housing, update firmware via the Yarbo app. During storage, charge the battery for 15 minutes every 3 months to prevent degradation. A seasonal inspection is recommended.

Upgrade to the Pro Mower ĄŞ quieter than I expected

Recently upgrade to the Pro Mower and itĄŻs doing a great work! The first days of the season look great.
My observations from the switch:
- surprisingly quiet, I couldnĄŻt tell if the blades were spinning.
- it does consume more battery (expected) but still can do the same amount of work per day.
- transferring the map was easy if it is saved in the cloud. Review your work area settings to your preferences with the new module.
Ąand yes, tall antennas still there from snow season

Thanking yarbo team for sending me the Mower Pro in one of the first batches.

Thanking yarbo team for sending me the Mower Pro in one of the first batches. I've been able to drop the fixed blades an inch lower than the razors, and it's looking great, and is actually doing what i was hoping the mower one would. Cutting nicely on the first pass too.

Works Well

I saw someone on here asking how well the Yarbo pro works on mulching leaves. I got my new module late last night.
I did a single test pass at 9pm at a 2.9 blade height on WET leaves (so itĄŻs an unfair test) and this was the result. Very impressed!!!
Edit:
I posted an updated picture after a single pass. I am cutting under six large maples. No issues and the pro disappeared leaves.
Everytime leaves built up the mower would detect an obstacle, back up, and go at it again and pulverize everything.

I want to take the time here to thank everyone on this forum ...and for that matter the Yarbo support staff. I have now had two successful days using my Yarbo and although there are still some challenges to overcome, I now feel that the Yarbo is a keeper and look forward to it making my warmer months in East Tennessee a lot more enjoyable. Everyone here is ready to help from what I can tell ....and the Yarbo support staff have been excellent with all my current problems

Not impressed. i’ve had it for two weeks. Lost GPS twice in wide open areas. trimmer has come off three times stopping the mower. Gets lost tries to dock to the charging station and fails 25% of the time I have to put it on there manually. stops because it says the cable connection is poor although I find no issues. Front camera quit operating twice left-hand camera once. Return to the docking station saying there was a vehicle in the road there wasn’t any vehicle near. Had to power it down and power it back up again to get it to work twice. Had to reload the app because it wouldn’t connect to the mower 100% of the time. Misses some of the areas in the zone. I have yet to get over all of the zones a second time because the mower is stopped all the time. Can’t keep up to the grass on 2 1/2 acres. I am compelled to go out and mow it again with my zero turn mower as it does such a poor job.. I’m sure glad I didn’t sell that. i’m sure there’s more that I have forgotten and it’s only been two weeks.

Dear Grote, thank you for bringing this to our attention — and we're sorry your experience hasn't been smooth.
Our team has personally reviewed your feedback. Our customer service team is already actively working on your case and has reached out to you directly to provide further assistance and ensure everything is resolved to your satisfaction.

Jarvis just trimming away. Will admit it took a bit to dial things in but like with all tech that is required. Glad I held out for the mower pro.

Personal Review

I received my mower pro module today. Figured IĄŻd give some initial thoughts after having done a section of my lawn. Cut quality with straight blades: For my particular property, itĄŻs what I wanted the original module to be. I wonĄŻt say itĄŻs 100% perfect. I did notice a couple very small clumps it didnĄŻt quite get, but honestly thatĄŻs borderline nit-picky. In my opinion, the regular m1 does B- work on my lawn. I have thicker grass and I donĄŻt want the Yarbo running all the time for various reasons. So, I was dealing with a lot of missed spots. With the pro module however, itĄŻs a whole different story. I had let my lawn grow for two weeks to give the pro a serious challenge and it did a better job than the regular m1 does cutting every 5 to 6 days. I know the m1 is really intended to run a lot more frequently. So the comparison is not totally fair. All I can say is the pro is a lot closer to a traditional lawnmower and can easily handle cutting once a week. I was impressed with the job it did and would give it an A- to an A. Packaging: As usual, the Pro came packaged well. My only gripe, which was incredibly annoying is I was given the manual for the regular m1 and not the pro. Battery: I know a few people have mentioned a big drain in battery with the Pro, but I didnĄŻt see this. Maybe I just need to use it more, but even for grass well over 4 inches long, the battery life seemed on par with the m9. Maybe IĄŻm just not hitting the conditions others are, not sure. Build Quality: Everything feels solid and durable. However, the thing that threw me off a bit is you just bolt the straight blades on with an Allen wrench. Maybe thatĄŻs enough for this type of blade? Certainly seems to work well! I guess IĄŻm just used to my regular mower that requires you to use a torque wrench to put the blades on. Overall, I think the pro rocks. The cutting power just seems far superior.
